Genius and brilliant work

Whoa, I honestly didn't know that much about Buster Keaton before but this collection shows what a genius he was. Utter master of comic timing, humour and unpredictability. Usually a "normal" opening but once things get set up, there is a frenzy of activity, jokes being set up and pulled off, skits, and everything coming together in a satisfying and happy conclusion.
The second movie also shows him to be something of an action hero too, performing action stunts that are all the more amazing bec

Genius

I found both films on this DVD brilliant to watch. Buster is a genius at pulling on the heart strings. Always the underdog, he shamelessly gets the sympathy of the audience, so we're praying for him to come out on top and get the girl, which he usually does. Sherlock Jnr was slightly the better film, with more slapstick and quite amazing stunts and special effects for its day.
