Flashy dance numbers, sassy girls, and is sexy all the way through. I highly recommend seeing it.Musicals are a dying art that have had a small comeback in recent years and "Burlesque" is the musical's comeback at it's height. Impressive cast including Christina Aguilera in her film debut, Cher, Stanley Tucci, Cam Gigandet, and Kristen Bell, "Burlesque" is a flashy, sassy, and sexy treat from start to finish. The plot line follows small-town Iowa girl Ali (the marvelous Aguilera) as she moves to LA with dreams of becoming a star and stumbles upon The Burlesque Lounge, a flailing old fashioned style dance club, operated by statuesque Tess (Cher). With her killer vocals and sassy dance moves, Ali restores Burlesque to its former glory, falls in love (Gigandet), and makes an enemy (Bell). If you like Christina Aguilera you will love this, it is in reality just one big long promotional video for her voice the plot is okay cher is cher, the one saving light in this Stanley Tucci who is top class funny when not even trying to be. Like I said I know its a musical but way too much christina for me.

Its a Christina Promo! Pity Cher wasnt the Singer/performer! Hated it sorry. You can imagine Christina AGG waking up 1 day and ordering her agent " I want a movie all about me..........and I WANT CHER! lol

I found it very entertaining love Christina Aguilera so was probably biased but the film was enjoyable Cher played a good role and overall it kept me awake as i would normally fall asleep watching boring films
