Dark and irreverent

If you like dark comedy and are not over-sensitive about death, this is for you. The story gives a good idea of the lengths anatomical research was prepared to go to in the 19th century while you can't really condemn the two main characters. The story moves along at a nice pace with many giggles and more than a wink to social satire. Great acting throughout. I found it very entertaining but the subject clearly is a matter of taste.
Just okay

The first thing to jump out is that this film sticks only slightly to the facts. Simon Pegg is brilliant as always and the film is funny but not outrageously funny. The characters are well drawn and sure enough I did find myself cheering for the murderers. The ending is weak and I wondered if the truth wouldn't have been a better ending.

A very disappointing comedy, I didn't laugh once, I didn't even manage a wry smile. Lots and lots of cameos from some really great and funny actors but none of them shine when they are on screen. I was bored to tears watching this tripe....avoid.
Disappointing

With Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis I was hoping for much more. Poor enough.

Mildly amusing take on the body snatching story
