3 out of 10 Classic
Elaine from Galway, 21 Sep 2010
If you haver never watched this...watch it....just because you should..not because it will blow you away or your life will be changed afterwards..but just because it is a movie that should be watched......sort of like an onscreen play....it is different than watching modern films.....the acting is what is on show..not special effects or score or celebrity...just real acting....and it is compelling for that reason....

Audrey hepburn would make the pope kick a hole in a stain glass window!!!! Enthralling movie. Snappiest of snappy dialogue. Hepburn and peppard are just so damn cool. Great movie. You will not be dissapointed. Get to see this at all costs, even if it's just to stare at miss hepburn light up the screen.

I have heard so much about how great this movie was that I did not think it would amount to anything special but really enjoyed it and loved Audrey Hepburn

What's it about....
Blake Edwards's adaptation of Truman Capote's classic novella is ideally cast with Audrey Hepburn in the role of Holly Golightly. The free-spirited gamine darts about New York, feted by wealthy men drawn to her megawatt charm and elegance, hoping that the party will never end. After "shopping" in front of Tiffany's window, she meets aspiring writer Paul Varjak (George Peppard), and they begin a platonic friendship.
