how burt reynolds didnt get an oscar for this is beyond me. This is a great great film, funny, sad, depressing, horrible, hilarious all at the same time. it captures the 1970's so well, you can feel almost the belbottom trousers and nylon shirts! the acting is superb and walberg is excellent. a classic.

Good movie, it gets off to a great start. The first half is definitely better than the second half. Overall it's too long and gets boring towards the end. After an hour and a half I had to ask were is this going? More of a snap shot of the times rather than a story.
