Good acting and great direction. As the most of the movies of Almodovar, it leave you some moments when you don’t know what to think. Almodovar mix the deep sensibility with the cruelty of the reality brought to the limit. You wont like some scenes, but happened in the life, not everyday, but it happened and it could happened.

Another great film from one of my favourite directors. He manages to turn a very grim premise into something interesting and worth watching without making it depressing. I had my doubts about renting this when I read what it is about but I'm glad I did.

As usual with Almodovar, this has quickfire wit, well-drawn characters and superb ensemble acting. It's dark stuff though. Once you're in that kind of mood, you'll enjoy this.

Deals with child sexual abuse and the trauma it causes, but in a marvellous gentle manner. Worth a look.
