An Affair to Remember

This classic really stands the test of time - very, very enjoyable! Gentle and slow moving.
While some of the plot is very "corny" - particularly the heroinne not explaining what had happened to her, it doesn't really matter.
Well worth watching - this is the film that is referred to in "Sleepless in Seattle".

Good hollywood smultz at it's best.Deborah Kerr and Cary Grant are just perfect together, really believeable. It tugs at the heart strings. Not a chic -flick for the younger woman prehaps but for us older girls a greaat film to take the phone off the hook, get a good bottle of wine and some nibbles to enjoy.

Definately a movie for a wet Saturday afternoon with a quiet house. Really good acting from Grant & Kerr and some very funny moments on the boat. Story is not very far removed from real life. Definately a classic. I am surprised it has never been remade.

Its a classic for a reason; save it for a rainy Sunday afternoon in company of a box of tissues and some Milk Tray.

I love this movie. I found the part when they are sitting back to back in the restaurant hilarious.
