2.5 out of 10 Give it a miss
Nuala from Dublin, 08 May 2010
You have seen this film so many times before, it’s just a rehash of a well worn story. Not well told, not at all believable, and not well acted, however it is well made and very well filmed. I just can’t understand why they would bother. It screams straight to DVD! and a epp of "The Bill" you would be better entertainment. I give it a 5 for its production values

2.5 out of 10 12 Rounds.

Run of the mill actioner with plenty of explosions to cover the lack of story. Both leads are disappointing, Cena an ex-wrestler ( say no more ) and Guillen, as the bad guy, who is about as menacing as candy floss. Its no surprise that the director had previously done a Die Hard movie, its just that he doesn't have the budget or stars for this one.

I was quite surprised by this film considering who had the main role. Interesting story line. Good action sequences. Good all round action film.

Big no brain actioner from Harlin.Loud and preposterous. Aiden Gillen enjoyed himself playing the baddie. To be enjoyed peferably after a lobotomy.
